Another week of shorts rides. My dad was still in the rehab hospital so I started work at 6 in order to quit at 3. He came home on Friday but Saturday was spent getting medications and oxygen. I was lucky to get any ride on Saturday.

I saw the man who walks MWF. I had never seen him in the daylight and did not know it was him. He recognized me.

TIL that "it's not always gas" can pertain to burps as well. I had some water then felt a burp. I let it go and immediately felt my breakfast in my mouth. I spit it out but kept riding. When people say "I threw up a little in my mouth" I don't think they meant this. I have felt things come up my throat but I managed to swallow before it got farther.

With dad in the hospital, and Nancy & Greg were here, I could still do my morning rides. He moved to rehab on Thursday and Greg left on Friday. Now all the visits are on me. I worked it out with my boss, a split schedule so I could have time to visit my dad and still cook meals for the boys. But that means I will need to start work an hour earlier. So I tried a couple of shorter rides on Thursday and Friday to see how far I can go and still be ready to work at 6.

This also means, I need to cut my weekend rides down shorter as I don’t have all afternoon to get my groceries done and my miles in.

I have to keep telling myself it is OK not to get all the miles that I used to get.

I feel selfish if I want to ride more.

It actually was a MUP but whatever. He kept yelling through his open windows as he drove away. Then he stopped along BBD to yell at me some more and taunted me by calling me Fatso, C'mon Fatso. At least I was exercising. When was the last time he exercised anything but his fat fist on his tiny dick?
