cycling week 18

With dad in the hospital, and Nancy & Greg were here, I could still do my morning rides. He moved to rehab on Thursday and Greg left on Friday. Now all the visits are on me. I worked it out with my boss, a split schedule so I could have time to visit my dad and still cook meals for the boys. But that means I will need to start work an hour earlier. So I tried a couple of shorter rides on Thursday and Friday to see how far I can go and still be ready to work at 6.

This also means, I need to cut my weekend rides down shorter as I don’t have all afternoon to get my groceries done and my miles in.

I have to keep telling myself it is OK not to get all the miles that I used to get.

I feel selfish if I want to ride more.
