A very good week for riding despite the cold. I took advantage of the four days off.

I wore my rain jacket instead of Ryan's vest. It worked well and my arms stayed warm. My legs and hands were cold despite being covered.

Windy. Amazing what new gears and chain can do for cycling performance. In the past, I was lucky to average 12 mph. Today I did 13 mph.
Three loops. I threw my chain switching into the big crank. Lots of people out walking and biking. Saw some cows.

I wanted to try for 40 miles but maybe not. My stomach was growling.
I finished three loops and went to Panera for lunch. I stopped at Oliver's. Ryan needs a new helmet and they are on sale. They only had a black one in stock and Ryan requested Navy Blue. They ordered it and I paid cash.
The ride home was OK except for throwing the chain off just north of Cross Creek. I really need to learn how to adjust it.
I wasn't sure if I made my November Apple Watch Challenge but ai soon got the notification that I did. Yes. 35.97 miles

Klimat.app is cool but it doesn't report wind gusts. In this case, the gusts were reported at 17-19 mph. That almost stops you in your tracks when it is against you.
I rode to Flatwoods and did three loops because I knew the ride back would be easy. The wind and the clouds kept the temperature lower which is good because I ran out of @skratchlabs hydration mix. Luckily, I still have @honeystinger Cherry Cola Gels. I wish they made them without caffeine since eating them in the afternoon tends to mess up my sleep.
The ride home was great with the tailwinds and I average 14.3 mph during that portion.
