A better week for riding. There was only one cold morning that resulted in a shorter ride. I finished up the Coffeeneuring Challenge. I enjoyed the cocoa and will probably do it next year.

Wore my new Cresta wool base layer. A little itchy but the warmth is so worth it. As I worked up a sweat, my arms felt cooler but not cold as they did with my Columbia tops. Still, it was too cold and I only did one loop.

Carrot weather said 55° so I skipped the down vest and the fleece cap. I should have worn the cap. Second new wool base layer just as good at keeping my warm.

Windy. Rode BBD to Flatwoods. Not many people on the trail. Rode in the big gear.
Two loops around Flatwoods.
Back up BBD. Wind was behind me and helping me along. Starbucks. They were out of Peppermint Hot Cocoa. Opted for Salted Caramel.
Four miles to home.

End: Clear, 64°F, Feels like 64°F, Humidity 62%, Wind 7mph from WNW - by Klimat.app
Windy
Rode down to BBD.
Chain slipping like crazy. Stopped at the light to cross. Chain dropped. Robbie was at Flatwoods and saw me. He has a new bike. I rode two loops. It I stayed in a higher gear, I was mostly OK. Could not make it up the little hill. Went to Oliver's to see what it was going to cost me. Randy was there and said I could pay the $70 later. They fixed it and even tried my rear wheel some. Debating if I should go to Starbucks.
I can't seem to get through a Coffeeneuring challenge without having to get something fixed on my bike.
I went to Starbucks for one last Peppermint Hot Cocoa.
The ride how was smooth and fast despite the NW wind.
