Monday was a holiday for work so I got in a longer ride. Which is good because Hurricane Elsa came through on Wednesday and I basically missed my ride.

Rode to SR56 to US301. There was another ride stopped at US301. I was getting ready to start back and so was he. I let him go first. I realized I forgot to get some fresh gum so I stopped again. Then about a half mile later, an alligator rushed in front of me. I had to swerve to avoid running over his tail. He was surprised as I was and couldn't decide which way to go. He was only about 5-6'. I rode around him and pedaled hard trying to catch up to the other cyclist. My adrenaline was running full stop but I couldn't catch up.

Carrot weather lies to me and said wind was south. So I rode to Tampa Palms. The wind was light so I didn't register the lie until I was riding home. The wind definitely felt against me. It was but it was light so not too bad. Except I was tired by then. And my feet hurt the whole time. My saddle was OK. A man passed me to turn right in front of me so I had to brake. A woman almost ran me down turning left and I had to brake hard. Jerks
