I rode out to BBD hoping I would have a better ride. The wind direction was more like NNE and it was against me on SR56. My average speed was only about 9mph! I rode along Hueland Pond which was calm and speedy with the wind behind me. Headwind along Mansfield slowed me down again until I made the turn south. I was clipping along at about 16mph and the crossing guard at Wrencrest started to blow her whistle. WTF. I didn't even see any kids at the corner! The car slightly ahead me didn't stop, the car behind didn't stop. So I felt little guilty in not stopping. Good grief. She got me twice this week, she doesn't need to stop me a third time.
