I was just past Oldwoods and the rear tire felt soft. I turned onto path and it was low. I couldn't see anything sticking out but saw that the tread was worn through. I pumped in some air but not enough to ride. I got off and called dad. And called dad. I called him 15 times hanging up after the voice mail message started. I called the house phone thinking he might have had his iPhone on silent for church. I saw that recents linked the house phone to Ryan and remembered his iPhone is on the kitchen table. I called that iPhone and dad answered. He came to pick me up. By then I had walked about a mile.

I put my road bike in the van so it was out of my way and hopefully one step closer to taking it into the shop. 
I rode my 820. Such a different ride. Easier and harder at the same time. I like sitting a bit upright but I go slower. However, I was surprised when my Apple Watch said I had average 12.1 mph for the first five miles. I have been averaging that on my road bike. I assumed it was because I was more fatigued and heavier. But maybe it was tire wearing out? I wonder.

I don't know what happened but my Apple Watch didn't record from where I stopped on SR56 to someplace on Beardsley. Weird

Sunny but cold and windy. I noticed my rear tire felt soft as I turned onto CLR but didn't feel like turning around. I struggled to pedal through the wind. 
Some reprieve on SR56 but the wind hit me on Mansfield.

Sunday
I went to ride my bike and found my rear tire flat. I went to change the tube and realized I had no tools, they are in my bike bag I left on my road bike. Oops. I managed to get the tire off then realized I didn't have the right size tube. Double oops. I asked Ryan if I could ride his bike. He asked which one? What? He thinks he has two bikes but the red one is still mine. Silly boy. He reluctantly said yes and I inflated his tires. How does he ride with them so low?

I do no like riding Ryan's bike. It is too upright and my hands still tingle. His seat has tilted back (which he says is OK) and I felt like it was digging into my crotch. The ride is so different. I could feel it in my hamstrings. With one gear, I felt very inefficient.
