Andy prefers the sidewalk when we get to busy roads. We rode CLR to Mansfield to Kinnan. I stopped and asked him if he wanted to turn around or continue. He opted for turning around.

I rode on the sidewalk west of BBD. No one was on it
Waiting for the light to cross the ramp takes forever. I was lucky when a gap long enough formed for me to go ahead.
No easy way to bike into the outlet mall.
I locked my bike up to the railing around the Starbucks patio.

Getting out of the outlet mall was a little easier. The ride over I75 was a struggle but ai made it without an incident.
I cut through Northwood Palms just to change up the route. I was also hoping that the wind would be weaker along the narrower road.

I am not looking forward to crossing I75 at SR56. I have never done it on a bike. But the construction is done so the paths should be safe.
Ugh. Had to go back. They gave me coffee. Blech. The second one is OK but no topping. Sigh.
The ride back was better than I had hoped. I took the sidewalk not trusting the drivers along SR56. The ways isn't very clear but I had to cross SR56 twice when crossing I75.
The worst part was crossing BBD when no one follows the NO TURN sign while I am trying to use the crosswalk.

I don't think I have ever had madeleines before. I expected butter or shortbread cookies but they are mini sponge cakes. While I was enjoying the drink and cakes, I read a recipe to bake them. Maybe, someday.
A tall is too much. Or maybe it was the cow's milk. It sat heavy in my stomach. I am glad it was a short ride back.

I was only planning a very short ride and my bike was gone. Ryan took my bike and left his. His needed air in the tires. I filled them and got on. I haven't ridden his bike in years and I don't know how he can stand it. The seat tilts up so you get a rude awakening. You also have to hold on to the handlebars or risk falling backwards. But his grips are falling off!
I lasted 2 miles.
He was home when I got back. He was more upset with me taking his bike than he was with I was with him. Sigh.

A pathetic week of riding. It got cold on Wednesday so I walked in the morning. But by the afternoon, I had no motivation to ride. I did the minimum. And I do mean minimum. If it wasn’t for this 967 day streak, I am not sure I would ride more ch at all. At least coffeeneuring is getting me to ride a little farther. But not like in the years past.

It was too cold this morning and I I had to drive across town after work to pick up a portable oxygen concentrator for my dad.
I had planned to ride when I got home thinking I would have time before sunset.
But it took longer than I expected at the shop and I stopped at Popeye's on the way home.

Since it was dark and getting colder, I just did one loop around the neighborhood.

Rode east to MPB then SR56 to Barnes & Noble. I ordered a steamer and a cookie and went inside. I got my cookie but the drink wasn't ready. When it did come, it was cold. They made me a Frappuccino instead of a steamer. Sigh.
The cookie is a very good tool to scoop up the whipped cream. (Except when a good chunk of cookie drops in the drink and you have no utensils.)
Rode back home.
