I am not sure why I am so slow. I just don’t have the drive to pedal any harder. I took the 1220 in for a tuneup on Tuesday. They called on Wednesday telling me I need new front gears and they have to ordered. I rode my 820 and was even slower. Then the weather changed, wind and cool weather that made me very slow. Definitely a slow spoke.

I went to the Starbucks outside of the outlet mall. The mall is a mess with the fall festival. And the Starbucks was not taking order ahead. Damn. I figured out my drink before I got to the cashier.
Grande Vanilla Cream with coconut milk and caramel sauce. Whipped cream? All melted but maybe it was there.
The drink is meh but the skies are clearing up.
I rode west to Cypress Creek the south to CLR. No shoulders on either road but no drivers were aggressive towards me.

It was windy and I was slow. It was nice when I turned south and the wind was helping.
I went to Target and got some Tylenol for my dad. Then I got a Tall Pumpkin Creme for me. I got extra whip this time so I had some when I got my drink. It was missing the pumpkin spice topping.

This was my second attempt today. I went out before 6 but only made it .67 miles when I heard a hiss. Not a snake but I flat tire. Damn. Since this was the second flat in two weeks, I figure it was time for a new tire. I was so close to home, I figured I would walk home and change the tube and put on a new tire. Except I couldn't get the dang thing on! The bead was so thick and my hands are not strong enough. I even looked on YouTube for any tricks I was missing. 

Oliver's, my local shop is closed on Sundays. I went down to REI and asked if they could help. Nathalia had some trouble but managed to get it on and they didn't charge me! (They asked if I was a member, which I am.) Oliver's would have charged me $10. It was worth the drive. Also I got to try Shake Shack. (It was OK). 

It was late in the day so hot and humid and windy. I wore my street clothes but did wear my gloves and helmet.

Rode to SR56 to US301. I rode north on US301 to Zephyrhills. I stopped at Starbucks for some iced tea. I had brought my own snack. I forgot my lock. 
Right before Chancey, I got a flat tire. There is a gas station there so I pulled in and changed my tire. Changing it went quickly but pumping it up was another matter. I got a new pump and never tried it out. It seemed pretty obvious but I couldn't get much air in the tire. I even thought about the air pump at the gas station but I had no money. It was broken anyway. I finally checked the web for instructions and found a video on YouTube. Yep, I was doing it wrong. I did get air in as much as I could and wobbled home. It wasn't that full but enough. Though ai took the shortcut home through The Ridge.
