It was an OK week for riding except for the weekend. I like that my speed increased during the early morning rides. I am pushing more. I didn’t have to work on Saturday but there was a tropical storm and it rained most of Saturday.

Very windy from Tropica Storm Nestor but I had to ride. I just did a short ride down CLR and back. There was a downpour soon after I got home. Good timing.

Trying to find the best route to take advantage of the prevailing wind, and to get in a fair amount of miles, and avoid construction. I ended up going up to SR54 then back down to SR56 to the Starbucks at Collier. I ordered a Salted d Caramel Cocoa from the Starbucks app.
Worst Starbucks ever. I placed a mobile order and had to ask for it. The cocoa wasn't even hot and the whipped cream was completely melted. They take care of the cars first.
The ride back was nice with some tailwind. Some asshole nearly hit me as I rode on the far edge of the wide shoulder. I felt the car go by and he was well over the line. Asshole. Also annoying were all the gnats. I had to keep my mouth shut. Yuck.
My reward was a @ClifBar Spiced Pumpkin Pie. Yum.
