/I love the whips clouds of spring.
Last week was OK for riding. The weather, aside from some wind, didn't affect any rides. I haven't felt the desire to ride but get out there and feel better for it.
I couldn't get the bracket on tight enough so I put the light on my bag. Not ideal.
Monday
62° wind 5+ NNE
I pumped up the tires but it didn't help. It was too windy to get a good pace. My heart wasn't in it.
10 miles 13.1 mph
Clear skies are boring.
Tuesday
57° wind 5 NE
Sunny. In my eyes.
Tired. No legs. I was surprised I rode as fast as I did. It helped that there was little wind. Couldn't keep my mind focused either.
10 miles 13.6 mph
I put a bracket on Andy's bike then spent too much time getting mine right. It was the bracket and I used another.
Wednesday
59° wind 3 ENE
Better but still not a lot of energy to push it. Sunny and cool.
Bus C-307 cut me off turning left on Mansfield from JLMS.
10 miles 13.5 mph
Thursday
59° wind 6 E
Cool and sunny.
I pushed it a bit to get to 14 mph but Wahoo said I only got 13.99. Ugh.
10 miles 13.99 mph
Friday
69° wind 5-8 mph
Later since I don't have to work today. The sun was higher in the sky and out of my eyes for the most part.
Felt good until I turned around on WRB. The wind hit me hard and I lost my 14mph speed.
10 miles 13.6 mph
Saturday.
67° wind 4 NW
I rode out to BBD and did the long loop. Paul Ink passed me on his loud motorcycle on Aronwood. He honked and waved.
A lot of people walking and jogging on the path. They can walk around the blockages.
I felt some wind on MPB but it didn't slow me down until Beardsley. I was at 14.5.
11 miles 14.3 mph
Sunday
83° no wind
I asked Andy if I should ride in Deer Run or Morningside. "Ride in Deer Run, please."
Rode Ryan's bike around Deer Run.
Pleasant.
1.3 miles. 7.67 mph
This week 62.9 miles
YTD 832 miles
