Very windy so I started down BBD to Flatwoods. I had intended on doing three loops so I could hit 100 miles this week. I stopped at the shelter and it started raining. Dark Sky said it would stop in 12 minutes but start again in 40 minutes. I decided to wait there then ride home. 
The rain stopped in just a few minutes. I started to ride home and got caught. Damn. 
On the way in, Trout Creek was over the road so I walked over the pedestrian bridge. I was so wet on the way back that I rode right through. 
I stopped at the Park gate and took off my glasses. I tried to dry the plastic pouch I had for my iPhone but I didn't have much to dry it with. Wahoo app was stuck on Lock and it wouldn't open. 
I rode home and thankfully it was only sprinkling and I made all the lights! 
When I got home, I had to force quit Wahoo. It kept my ride but the GPS was lost. Oh well.

I rode SR56 to US301 then up to Zephyrhills. I rode through Main Street. It was quiet because of the pandemic. I imagine all the bars would be hopping any other year with the playoffs. 
I rode back SR54. Some driver almost ran me over to make a right turn. What is weird is that he stopped to let let the cyclist in front of me go past the driveway then started turning as I go to the driveway. Not sure if he was just an asshole or stoned. It was a little scary from Morris Bridge until the toad switched over to the new part with an actual bike lane. 

I had to stop to cross over to MPB. Half of the intersection is under construction.
My left foot started to cramp on the last mile. Other than that, I felt good.

I thought about riding SR56 to US301. But the wind was coming from the west. I started out CLR and the decided on one loop through Flatwoods. I was prepared as I had only one water bottle. But it was cool and Flatwoods has water available. 
They have painted some of the bike lanes where they pass by a right turn lane. Do cars even understand what it means?
I stopped at mile 14 but didn't rest long. It is cold when I have to start again.

I didn't want to be out. Maybe I jinxed myself because I was cruising along MPB and caught the edge of the pavement. My tire blew and I thought I was going down. But I managed to stay upright and stopped. I got off the road and changed my tire. My leg was shaking from the adrenaline. The tire went on easily but ai couldn't get much pressure in. I rode home carefully then pumped up my tire properly.

I am riding in the wind. It isn't fun. I stopped at Largo. Starting again and my sweaty arms were cold. I thought wool was supposed to keep me warm?
Lost 5 miles on my Apple Watch because I forgot to hit resume. I might just let it go. Screw the average speed.
Construction around the overpasses so no option to go over them or around the barriers. I went around the barriers. After climbing 3, I was done.

Got to Dunedin but only at 24 miles. I rode to Honeymoon Island. The wind across the causeway was brutal.
Surprised I am not hungry. But I ate a mini cliff bar at each stop.
Trying to charge my iPhone. I think I need a new cord.
The ride back in a better with wind behind me. My legs are getting tired.
I may be done with this a trail. Too many stops and crossings.
When I parked in this lot this morning, I was the only car here. I come back to some big party and two bouncy castles. I rode the long way back so I would have to ask the 3 very large men to move so I could cross the boardwalk.
So glad to be done. I don't think I will ride this trail next year. I don't like all the street crossings. And the drive here and home is long. There were no restrooms where I parked and had to ride home in clammy clothes.
