A few years ago, I would have taken advantage of the holiday weekend and ridden a lot more than 90 miles. But I am no longer that ambitious or motivated or whatever.
I had Thursday and Friday off but I only rode errands on my bike. It was hot enough just doing those short rides. I look forward to winter.

One ride to Target and back is not long enough to close my exercise circle. I went out a second time on Saturday to reach that goal.
Sunday was haircuts so I missed my morning ride. I went out in the afternoon to Panera to get bagels.

Warm mornings are the norm. I don’t really like it but it is better than the cold of winter.
I did more errands on the weekend, making multiple trips because my bike cannot hold as much as my boys drink.

Rain moved in this week. On Wednesday, it was supposed to be drizzle ending soon after I started. But I got soaked. I didn’t wear my poncho figuring I would get just as sweaty.
They promised lots of rain but we got under an inch.
Saturday I rode to Publix.

The mornings are getting warmer and muggier. I have started taking water with me even the rides are just under an hour.
I did grocery shopping on Saturday and Sunday. I needed milk and juice at Publix. But I can only carry 8 bottles (4 gallons). I checked to see if they had chocolate milk (which they didn’t) before I went back and got the juice for Andy. Then I went to a third store on Sunday for the chocolate milk.

Monday was Memorial Day.
I rode up to Home Depot in Zephyrhills. I rode on the MUP on the way there. I did as well on the way home but found it ended around Curley. I need to remember that for future rides. The sidewalk was narrower and people were jogging.
Summer is coming. The morning are warmer and humid.

The mornings were warmer this week. I wonder if I can put away my tights for the season. As soon as I do, we will have a cold spell.
April ended on Tuesday and I had 522 miles for the month.
I rode twice on Friday. Once in the morning and once after work to Target. It was nice to get that out of the way. They didn’t have any milk and I also realized my panniers will not hold as much as I thought.
On Saturday, I did some errands; haircut and milk for Ryan.
On Sunday, I did a short ride because I have to give haircuts.
The weather is getting warm and I want to ride before lunch.

I had a shorter ride on Monday as I did sleep much with stomach pains. The mornings were cooler this week. It wasn’t too cool and I was fine riding each morning.
There was an update to the Flow App and it no longer shows Average Speed. I really missed it and found myself riding a bit slower. Though, we are only talking about a few minutes so it shouldn’t matter.
The rest of the weekdays were fine.
I did some errands on Saturday. I stopped at Nutrition Smart, Sprouts and Panera. My panniers were getting not full but they were heavy and I could not move my bike like I usually do in the garage.
I had a windy but good ride on Sunday.
I didn’t make up the 5 miles I missed from Monday but I was over 100 miles so it is all good.

The mornings got a bit warmer but the humidity is still low.
I had to stop riding in the 10th gear, it is skipping all the time.
I had a long ride on Saturday through Flatwoods. I don’t know why I can’t ride easier and enjoy more of the ride.
Another good ride on Sunday morning. I went out early to avoid the heat and wind. I avoided the heat.
there was no rider around this spider-man motocycle. maybe he was off fighting crime. he wouldn’t be able to get far in the suburbs with no tall buildings.

April 8-14
Mornings were not quite as cool. But the wind has been strong this week.
On Tuesday, I rode my bike to the dentist and back for some extra miles.
Wednesday and Thursday were really windy. The weather got cooler but was still fine.
On Saturday, I rode to Sprouts.
I could smell the jasmine while riding through Hunters’ Green. They use it for ground cover.

On Sunday I just rode around Meadow Pointe. I had no destination in mind but wanted to ride 20 miles. I sometimes wish I had more choice of routes. But I hate taking the time to drive somewhere and it would going back to my (analog) miles as my e-bike is too big and heavy to transport.
I don’t need to go someplace to enjoy riding.
